Sedona Creative Life Center
A Spiritual Environment for Growth
Dedicated to the creative/spiritual part of every person, Sedona Creative Life Center is a non-religious, non-profit growth center. Foremost in its philosophy is the idea that every person is here to learn and to grow as much as possible. Creativity and fulfillment are believed to be closely connected with growth and change on a personal level. Sedona Creative Life Center strives to put on programs that bring out the creative, fulfilling and growth producing aspects in people.
Sedona Creative Life Center is located in a calm and serene setting of hills, trees and spectacular red rock views. Outdoor facilities include a picnic area, a dining patio, beautiful sculpture gardens, hiking trails and a number of secluded outdoor areas ideal for meditation or quiet reflective thought.
The Sedona Room
The Sedona Room is an intimate carpeted space, seating up to 100 theater-style. The large fireplace, stained glass windows and comfortable window seats make this a favorite area for films, fireside chats, receptions, yoga, and large meetings.
Sedona is a town of about 15000 people, with the most stunning scenery of red rocks you can see anywhere on this planet. In addition to the magnificent beauty of the red rock canyons and cliffs, Sedona is also close to a number of Indian ruins. Some ruins are National Monuments, while the Honanki and Palatki ruins are in Coconino National Forest just outside Sedona.
Sedona is located on highway 89A in Arizona, about 30 miles south of Flagstaff, and 110 miles north of Phoenix. The climate in Sedona is of special interest because it is quite different from other areas in Arizona. Although Sedona is only a 2 hour drive from Phoenix, its climate is also very different from the hot desert climate of Phoenix. This is because Phoenix is at 1000 feet elevation, Flagstaff is at 7000 feet, and Sedona is in between at 4500 feet. This gives Sedona a nice, comfortable climate with fairly mild seasons and only 8 inches of snow a year, which is almost always gone within a day.
